SAINT-HYACINTHE, March 2, 2016 – Ciaq’s Management is pleased to announce the signing of a first collective agreement with the Syndicat des inséminateurs et services à la ferme du C.I.A.Q. – CSN, on March 1st, 2016.
"This collective agreement is the result of a negotiation carried out in an atmosphere of harmony and respect between management and the union. The client and the sustainability of the company were at the center of all discussions leading to the signing of a strong and forward-looking collective agreement", commented Mario Hébert, Ciaq’s General Manager.
In the photo, Sylvain Boyer, Director of Services to Producers, and Gilbert Vallières, Artificial Insemination Advisor and President of the Union, are proceeding to sign the collective agreement. They are surrounded by the key people who were present at the bargaining table and contributed to the success of the negotiation.
Now that this step has been completed, the Ciaq team will continue working towards achieving the company’s mission.
