CIAQ Claude-Hayes Award presented to Luc Chassé and Martin Duclos
Saint-Hyacinthe,April 23rd, 2013 – Two prominentfigures from the Quebec agricultural sector received the Claude-Hayes Awardduring CIAQ’s annual event chaired by Léonard Chabot, accompanied by GeneralManager Mario Hébert and their guests. This award, which was created in 2009,is presented to people who have contributed to the evolution and reputation ofthe organisation.
The two winners are Luc Chassé, Jerseybreeder from Ferme Luchane, located in Saint-Sylvère, for his expertise and his involvement as member of CIAQ’s Board of Directors and, posthumously, to Martin Duclos, advisor at the Quebec Ayrshire Society and a strong promoter of CIAQ’s products and programs. CIAQ’s directors, management and staffas well as the guests were honoured to welcome Luc Chassé and Mrs. Angèle Hébert, Martin Duclos’ wife, for the presentation of their award.
These personalities have inspired CIAQ’s staff and those around them to give their best, and encouraged them toalways offer the very best services Québec breeders are entitled to expect. CIAQ is proud to pay tribute to Mr.Chassé and Mr. Duclos for their dedication and their collaboration.
